A: Because there are eight groups of 5 seeds, skip counting by 5s, we can get five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty melon seeds.

Q: How many bees are there? (Use three ways to skip counting.)

Solution 1: I put two bees as one group, so there are 15 groups of 2 bees, then I skip counting by 2s, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, there are 30 bees.

Solution 2: I put five bees as one group, so there are 6 groups of 5 bees, then I skip counting by 5s, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, there are 30 bees.
