       Red-crowned Crane

The red-crowned crane is also called Japanese crane.

It is the largest Asian crane in the world.

Adult red-crowned crane has snow-white body , 

black head,neck and tail,

and there is a patch of red skin on the crown.

The red-crowned crane habits in swamp, lake, plain, 

grassland, shore or reed.

The red-crowned crane eat fish, shrimp, tadpole and water insects.

It also eats root, stem and leaf of water plants.
