变化规则

1. 通常情况下名词的复数变化是在词尾+s,表示1个以上

   mechanic  mechanics

2. 以s, sh, ch, x 结尾+es

   bus       buses

   brush    brushes

   watch    watches

   box        boxes

3. 以辅音字母+y结尾，变y为i+es

   “元音字母+y”结尾的名词，词尾直接加-s。

   baby   babies

   boy－ boys(男孩);
   

   day－ days(白天);

   key－  keys(钥匙)

4. “辅音字母+o”结尾的名词，有生命+es;

“辅音字母+o”结尾的名词，无生命+s;

“元音字母+o”结尾的名词，一般+s。

例如：

tomato－tomatoes(西红柿)

potato－ potatoes(土豆); 

hero－    heroes(英雄)

mango-  mangoes(芒果）

photo —  photos(照片);

5.以f或fe结尾的，把f或fe变成v，再加es，

housewife -housewives

shelf  shelves

6. 英语中有一些名词的复数形式是不规则的，记心中

如man， woman，以及由这两个词组成的复合名词:

man-                men

woman-           women

milkman -        milkmen

policewoman -policewomen

child  -             children

s发音：（口诀：清清，浊浊，元浊）

1.在清辅音后面发/s/

book books

2.在浊辅音或元音音素后面发/z/

pen        pens  

teacher  teachers

3.以/s/结尾的单词，

 其名词复数通过加-es，发音为/iz/

bus     buses

box     boxes

brush  brushes

watch  watches
