Extensive Reading--Runaway Sandy
1.在教师引导性问题的帮助下，理解文章大意；
2.按照Problem and Solution的阅读策略，找出文章主人公Sandy所遇到的人和问题，并理解相应的解决方案；
3.通过阅读，积累部分词汇，并培养孩子带着问题和假设去阅读的习惯；
4.能够借助板书将故事内容进行复述。
Problem Solving1-The Class Party
1.在阅读故事中加强学生对20以内加法的理解，能够应用到实际生活中，用英文熟练输出；
2.从故事中提取数学元素进行运算，比如看到more知道要用加法，看到in all, altogether知道要算总和，要建立等式；
3.培养团队协作能力，建立自信，在全班同学的前面表述如何解决问题；
4.孩子能够阅读故事，并且解决故事中的问题；
5.孩子能够编写自己的数学小故事。
