Today we learned about rectangles.

This is a floor plan.

A: It's a rectangle.

Q: How many square corners does a rectangle have?

A: A rectangle has four square corners.

Q: How many sides does a rectangle have? 

A: A rectangle has four straight sides.

Q: Which shape is a rectangle?

A: The red one is a rectangle because it has four square corners and four straight sides.

A: A square has four equal sides.

A: A square has 4 square corners.
