Q: Can you describe the picture?

A: I can see a girl, a boy, a granddad, and some trees.

   They are playing baseball.

   They feel hot but happy.

Fern and Matt are at the farm.

"What is in the old barn?" they ask.

Q: Where are Fern and Matt?

A: Fern and Matt are at the farm.

"Junk!"Granddad says.

"Have a look".

Q: What is in the old barn?

A: Junk is in the old barn.

Fern and Matt see lots of stuff.

"This is not junk. This is good stuff," they say.

Q: Is this junk?

A: No, this is good stuff.

Matt finds a ball.

"This is fun," he says.

"What is that on the mat?" Fern says. "I see a bat!"

"Here is a mitt," Granddad syas.

"It will fit my hand."

Wham! Play ball!
