      The Story of Thanksgiving

In 1620, the Pilgrims went to America by Mayflower.

It was a cold winter.

They were cold and hungry.

Indians helped them.

Indians taught them hunting and growing corns.

The next year, they had a harvest time.

They want to thank Indians, thank god, thank nature.

They celebrate thanksgiving day.

It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada.

People eat roast turkey with gravy.

People eat stuffing.

People eat mashed potatoes.

People eat creamed onions.

People eat cranberry sauce.

People eat buttered roll.

People eat celery sticks.
