 Today I want to talk about 

Golden monkey.

The golden monkey has a soft pelt, 

a round head, 

short ears and a tail 

as long as 

or longer than its body length.

A pair of bright and beautiful eyes

sparkles on its azure-blue face.

It has a small snub-nose and a sarcoma

at the corner of its mouth,

which becomes bigger and harder 

with time.

Its long tresses resemble shiny, 

gold wool.

The golden monkey has a diet 

that consists primarily of 

young bamboo leaves, bamboo shoots,  

fruits,invertebrates, 

flowers, and shrubs. 

Due to its diet the golden monkey 

prefers a habitat with abundant fruit and bamboo.

Golden monkey is a first class 

national level protected animal 

in China.

For a long time the killing is one of the main threat 

to the endangered golden monkey．

According to the uncompleted 

statistics, 

there are only 300 more 

golden monkeys left．

At the same time , 

deforestation thoroughly 

destroyed golden monkey's 

habitat.

Narrow distribution will eventually 

lead to the extinction of 

golden monkey．

Let's do something to prevent 

the extinction of golden monkey．

We can protect the environment 

by reducing , reusing and recycling.

We can build reserves and 

help golden monkey to 

have more babies.
